He is a founding partner of ESPIRÁLICA Research & Strategic Consulting, LLC, which he directs and represents since 2004. He has extensive experience in the use of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and has taught research courses in various Latin American countries. He began his academic activity on 2004 teaching classes in research methodology and advanced research methods at master and doctorate levels. He has lectured on world research conferences and on regional forums specialized in development issues. He has published articles on issues of financial inclusion, gender, migration, microfinance, entrepreneurship, among others.

Leonardo Alvarez specializes in financial inclusion and issues associated with entrepreneurship. He has been a high-level official in international development organizations and leading financial institutions that serve the micro and small business sector. He developed his professional experience in several countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. He has also participated in several quantitative and qualitative information collection projects for RCT impact evaluations using rigorous quality control methods executed by the firm at a national and international level.

Daniela Cruz specializes in finance, impact evaluation, and development programs. She is an expert in quality control of rigorous quantitative and qualitative information gathering processes for impact evaluations and research in general. She has participated in several strategic planning projects and consultancies in the area of finance and development executed by the firm at a national and international level. Additionally, she has publications in financial inclusion area and the MSMEs sector.

Marco Ramos

Marco Ramos specializes in the design of probabilistic samples, statistical data analysis, and the creation of econometric models. He has used his strong skills in sampling and statistical analysis in several of the most important researches of ESPIRÁLICA.

His academic activity, of more than 26 years at the postgraduate level, is carried out by teaching classes on statistical methods, advanced statistics, econometrics, advanced econometrics, biostatistics, research methodology, among others, in the programs of master and doctorate at the Universidad Católica de Honduras and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras.
